For all platforms, there are two options on how Scandit Express can be rolled out:
- With Scandit cloud configuration: You specify the deployment code of your Scandit Express project in the MDM system (iOS & Android) or deployment script. Scandit Express will automatically download the license and configuration from our servers on the first start. Should you change your configuration or extend your license, your devices will automatically update.
- Without Scandit cloud configuration (offline/on-premise): You download the license and configuration from the Scandit dashboard and distribute them through your MDM system (iOS & Android) or deployment script. Scandit Express will work independently of the Scandit Cloud, but any changes to the configuration or license will have to be distributed manually through your MDM system or with a deployment script.
Please note that this requires a special license for Scandit Express.
