All the following actions can be performed in the "Additional Settings" of your dashboard's project.
To access these settings:
- Login at https://ssl.scandit.com/ with your credentials
- Go to the projects tab
- Click on the project you want
- Click the edit button next to the bookmark you want to modify
- Scroll down to the "Additional Settings" section
You can perform several actions in this section:
- Camera Toggle
- Set a default zoom
- Add a torch toggle
- Screen Orientation
- Scanner GUI
- Highlight Rejected Codes
- Data Formatting
- Data Validation
Camera Toggle
The Enterprise Browser automatically selects the back-facing camera.
The camera toggle on the scan screen which will let you switch between front and back-facing camera.
Set a default zoom
If you need to scan tiny codes, setting a default zoom to be used in scan sessions might help.
Torch button
Select that option if you sometimes encounter dark/low-light environments and need a toggle on the scan screen to quickly turn the device's torch on.
Screen Orientation
You can restrict the screen orientation to either portrait or landscape.
Scanner GUI
You can change between Default and Laser GUI for your camera.
Highlight Rejected Codes
You can enable this option to highlight the rejected codes scanned.
Data Formatting
You can define a prefix and a postfix to be added to the data scanned as a formatting tool.
Data Validation
You can input a regular expression to restrict the accepted data to only the ones following the expression introduced.
