You can sign up for a 90-day free trial of Scandit for use within Epic Revor on Google Play Store and iOS Store by inserting a Scandit test license key into your Epic Rover CDE.

 

ℹ️ Epic Rover is a mobile app for clinical users, and Revor is a related app for project team members and system administrators. Both apps are used with Epic's electronic health record (EHR).

How to Get Started with Epic Rover

1. Sign up for a free trial of the Data Capture SDK here.

2. Click "Add a project" and name your project.

3. Add a license key description and select 3rd Party Applications

4. Select Epic Rover and click Generate License Key to create a test license key for Epic Rover.

 

⚠️ Test license keys are for trial purposes only and should not be used in production.

 

5. Click the ⧉ button next to the key in your dashboard to copy the test license key to your clipboard.

 

6. You now need to add in your Epic Rover CDE Barcode Settings, adding Scandit for the decoder type.

 

 

7. The created trial license is valid for Android and iOS devices, and you may repeat entering the license key within your Epic Rover CDE for the other platform as well.

 

8. Log out of the Epic Rover mobile application on the mobile device and log back in. This will clear the cache of the Epic Rover mobile application and pull the Scandit trial license. You'll now be able to use Scandit as a Barcode Scanning Provider within Epic Rover.
