Why does the Keyboard Wedge for Android need access to accessibility services?

When using the Keyboard Wedge to scan into multiple fields or in any other use case which doesn't use the Scandit software keyboard, the wedge will need access to accessibility services to be able to write the scan result into input fields.

Please note that we do not transmit any data which is accessed via accessibility services over the network and this is purely used on-device for entering data.
