How do I setup the Keyboard Wedge on Windows 10?

Please note that you need a valid Scandit Keyboard Wedge subscription to follow the steps below. Learn how to Sign Up for a free 14-day trial.

The Scandit Keyboard Wedge can be downloaded from the Keyboard Wedge Dashboard (login here): 

Follow the following steps to setup the Keyboard Wedge and connect it to your subscription:

  1. Please run the KeyboardWedge.msi file to complete installation of the Keyboard Wedge. 
  2. Once installed, you will need to scan the setup code shown on your Keyboard Wedge Dashboard to pair the app with your subscription (login here).

  3. If you are currently on the device you want to install the Keyboard Wedge on you can also manually copy-paste the deployment code.

  4. After scanning the QR code or manually entering the deployment code, the Keyboard Wedge will download the license and configuration and display the floating scanner button. You can now scan as outlined in the video below.
